In Niagara-on-the-Lake, Revé brings together the culinary traditions of Sicily with the ingredients and agricultural character of Niagara. Founded by Nicole Pisarenko, Chef Adriano Cappuzzello, Anna Kruusi and Kevin Gillingham, the restaurant is built around a live-fire approach and a farm-to-fire philosophy, creating a dining experience that is deeply connected to both place and season.

At the centre of Revé is Chef-Owner and Executive Culinary Director Adriano Cappuzzello, whose cooking reflects a career that began in Ragusa, Sicily, where he entered a two-Michelin-starred kitchen at just 14 years old. His subsequent experience includes Locanda Don Serafino in Sicily, Langdon Hall, Restaurant Tim Raue and The Fat Duck, before his journey eventually brought him to Niagara.
At Revé, Cappuzzello’s Sicilian roots provide the foundation, but Niagara supplies the ingredients. The restaurant works closely with local farms and producers, allowing the availability of the season to shape its menus. The result is a 10-course tasting experience that traces the chef’s culinary journey while placing local ingredients at the forefront. Live fire is central to the cooking, transforming those ingredients through flame, smoke and heat.
That same journey continues into the wine program. Revé’s pairings are designed to move from Sicily through Niagara, creating a dialogue between Cappuzzello’s heritage and the region surrounding the restaurant. Sicilian wines provide a connection to the chef’s roots, while Niagara producers bring the experience back to the restaurant’s immediate sense of place.

A focus on warmth and detail, the restaurant aims to make the hospitality experience feel personal and immersive. Even the dining room reflects that philosophy, drawing on the elements of fire, earth, air and water through natural textures and a design inspired by the landscape.
